In addition to quarried aggregates we operate two licensed waste transfer and treatment facilities located in Manchester and Liverpool. These sites are inspected and regulated by the Environment Agency under an Environmental Permit where we process solid, non-hazardous, inert wastes from the construction and demolition industry. Waste is sorted, screened and crushed in order to manufacture a number of recycled materials suitable for re use.

P.P. O’Connor have one of the largest fleet of haulage wagons in the North West with a total of 95 vehicles in our fleet and are FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) Gold accredited. All of our wagons are fitted with satellite navigation systems which allows the efficient coordination of all wagon movements. Our plant and fleet are operated through our Command Centre based at our head office in Trafford Park.
