Working in line with UK guidelines, the handy map-based platform shows the geographical distribution of members’ construction sites and activity across the UK. The platforms’ data enables members to proactively plan the sourcing and removal of recycled construction materials locally.
Significant savings can be made amongst members by making simple trades to avoid costly landfilling or overpayment of materials already potentially available as surplus or locally.
Earth Exchange is available to subscribers for a small monthly fee to cover development, software support and management of the site.
Earth Exchange are a Principal Member of CL:AIRE, and we embrace Materials Management Plans (MMPs) wherever necessary (including the relevant exemptions). Our members can download MMP application forms and find Qualified Persons (QPs) from our website. The site information database mirrors those requirements needed for an MMP submission or declaration.
Earth Exchange is working closely with CL:AIRE and its members to assist in delivering the sustainable reuse of materials in the construction industry and improve efficiency and sustainable development whilst saving money.
